Agnes Water Revealed!

Don't expect some politically correct web site extolling Agnes Water 1770 as though it was the new Jerusalem. In brief, this site contains my observations about living here - the good, the bad and the downright hilarious cum ridiculous. panorama of town beach So who is Agnes?: Agnes Water 1770 is a small but increasingly popular sea change and holiday destination. Population around 4,000   plus about 25,000 tourists over a year who are mainly flush young backpackers and gray nomads with a good dye job. Agnes Water 1770 is the northern most surfing beach in Queensland. After this, it's flat do-nothing ocean.   By late October the sea can be 28C, crystal clear and now there is a full time lifesaver on guard at the beach during swimming season (and of course the volunteers on Sunday).  Which is comforting as sharks like to check out the local fare. See 'All about Agnes' for local customs, arrivals, shopping, eating.
