I am now into Toleration Week II with Coco The Intruder. It is very testing for lady of a certain age such as myself. However, being the true Tibetan that I am, I shall endure, whilst extracting every tribute from Revered Mother and Adored Father to ease my discomfort. Coco TI has, as I say, been here but moments though has ensconced herself upon MY day bed whilst I am taking a few moments of leisure (whilst still watching over the ramparts to alert the Master should unsavory types approach). Coco's specially procured day bed is immediately adjacent to mine, you will note. But Oh No, The Intruder must wrap her soft cuddly person directly up against me!
Of course the Tall Ones (especially I notice the Revered Mother) dote on Coco's every action enthusing over things which in my day were considered the norm for a fourteen to fifteen week old Lhasa Apso. We all, without any training, knew to run and pounce on a ball (with or without the FETCH request). We all, without training, knew to drop it at ourMistress/Master's feet for an immediate rerun. That Coco also does this, apparently seems surprising and deserving of cuddling and cooeing and many chucks under chin !

And now, She has an Auntie! Do I have an Auntie? (well yes I do and God-parents but they are all in Sydney so they don't count). Although I do hear her Auntie Julie repeatedly say "Oh she is so much bigger!" on every visit.
Coco doesn't yet realize that is not a compliment - I shall soon inform her, as is my duty.

"I don't want that bed Miss Peppie - I want Yours."
